How Do I Share Music on Zoom in Good Quality?

featured on home pg, TOOLS + TECHNOLOGY

Whether you are hosting workshops, yoga glasses, breathwork or anything else and you are using music you will be wondering how to share that music without it sounding like total sh*t.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to share music on zoom in good quality.

Every time you want to share music on your desktop or laptop computer you should follow these steps:

  1. After joining your zoom room click on share on the bottom bar. A pop-up will open up. Select “Advanced” at the top.

2. In the pop up you want to select “Compuer Sound Only”, followed by “Share” on the bottom right.

By selecting computer sound only you are NOT turning off your microphone. The question is what am I sharing and hence the response is computer sound only because you don't want to share the screen as well. Your microphone will function as normal.

3. After selecting share and saving these settings you will be taken back to the main screen.

At the top of the screen, you will be able to see the green and red box (see image below).

The green box is the confirmation that your computer sound is being shared. The red box is how you can stop sharing your computer sound.

Now you are ready to share the music or audio you choose.

Sadly, it is not possible to share music from iPad or iPhone at this time.

Now go rock that class!
